Counters and timers are very common components in data acquisition and control systems. Our PowerDNA boards support a complete set of counter/timer functions including: Event counting, Frequency measurement, Pulse-width measurement, Frequency generation, Pulse and PWM generation. In addition to these standard counter/timer modes, PowerDNA boards are also available to read data from Quadrature encoders.

The DNA-CT-601 is a high performance, 8 channel general purpose counter timer board suitable for a wide variety of counting/timing and PWM generation functinos.

The DNA-QUAD-604 is a 4 channel Quadrature encoder input board designed specifically to monitor rotation using any quadrature encoder device.
