The USB-501-RCG measures and stores up to 32,510 temperature readings over a -20 to +60 ºC (-4 to +140 ºF) measurement range.
The polycarbonate window and stainless steel 316 assembly provide protection from corrosion, impact and water ingress to IP67/NEMA 4X. The unit is powered by a lithium-ion rechargeable battery which allows logging for up to 1 month.
The battery is charged by connecting the unit to a PCs USB port with the supplied cable. Setup and data download is also done by connecting the data logger to a PC's USB port.

The USB-501-RCG remote data logger and the USB-500 Series Data Logger Application software are supported under Microsoft Windows®/XP/Vista/7 operating systems. Each is compatible with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 ports.
